MELTY BLOOD: TYPE LUMINA TWI-LUMINA is confirmed for release on April 22, 2027. The game will also be available for hands-on demos at Tokyo Game Show 2026.
The game will launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Steam. Subtitles are available in Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Spanish, French, and Portuguese, with Japanese voice acting.
This title features a comprehensive overhaul of the combat system and introduces new playable characters. The currently revealed gameplay footage is still in development, and details and specifications are subject to change.
Tokyo Game Show 2026 will be held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba City. Business days are September 17–18, from 10:00 to 17:00 each day; public days are September 19–20 from 9:30 to 17:00, and September 21 from 9:30 to 16:00.
The on-site exhibition areas are located at Aniplex's booth 04-C04 in Hall 4, and Happinet's booth 06-N04 in Hall 6. Attendees can experience the game's updated combat system during the event.
