An update to the Xbox PC app has revealed the unlock sound and badge design for "Mythic Achievements." This achievement system, similar to PlayStation's Platinum trophies, is becoming more apparent, though Xbox has yet to announce the full rules.
Klobrille shared this discovery on X (formerly Twitter). The update included the unlock sound for Xbox's "Mythic Achievements" as well as the badge used to display them. Previous reports indicated that the feature would be named "Mythic," and the recent assets have once again used this naming convention.
The currently discovered unlock sound lasts approximately 16 seconds. Based on existing information, players can earn a "Mythic Achievement" after obtaining all other achievements in a game, positioning it similarly to PlayStation's Platinum trophy, which unlocks upon completing all conditions.
Asha Sharma confirmed earlier this year that Xbox plans to introduce this feature. However, Xbox has not yet specified the exact launch date, nor has it disclosed the complete criteria and presentation method.
It remains unclear whether "Mythic Achievements" will apply retroactively to all previously released games or if individual developers will need to update their titles. The scope of application and unlock criteria are still awaiting official announcement from Xbox.
