Adapted from the original work by Shigeru Sagazaki, the series features Beril, an elderly swordsmanship instructor, as its protagonist. Many of his students have grown into formidable swordsmen, but Beril consistently believes his abilities are overrated despite their high praise for his skills.
As the story progresses, Beril continues to prove his strength through his actions and gradually gains more recognition. Unlike typical reincarnation fantasy tales, this work focuses on an elderly swordsman who has undergone years of training but fails to fully recognize his own abilities.
