The strategic counter-attack timeline RPG "Tree of Divinity: Qliphoth" launches on September 24 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Steam, and Epic Games Store. Arc System Works Asia is simultaneously releasing launch bonuses, including additional outfits for the two protagonists and extra battles.
This title is jointly released by Arc System Works Asia and Unite Plus. The story unfolds in Tokyo, centered around Shibuya, which has been侵蚀ed by "Anomalies." Delivery rider Souma Hoshikui becomes a "Hybrid"—a fusion of human and Anomaly—after being attacked, and is subsequently taken in by investigator Reina Hizuki; together, they will uncover the mysteries behind the anomalous phenomena.
Players who purchase the Chinese physical or digital edition for Nintendo Switch can obtain bonus DLC for free within a limited period. The content includes three additional outfits each for Reina Hizuki and Souma Hoshikui, as well as "Void Fall," which features 16 high-difficulty battles; the free download period ends on December 24, 2026.
The Chinese physical edition for PlayStation 5, as well as the Chinese digital editions on Steam and Epic Games Store, offer the same pre-order and early purchase bonuses, though the acquisition methods differ from the Switch version. Combat uses a command-based system. Enemy and player skills appear on a timeline in the center of the screen, requiring players to judge the timing and counter with skills matching the color of the enemy's attack. Attack skills have cooldowns, and some enemy moves require both protagonists to counter together.
Successful counters reduce the enemy's "Descent Value"; knocking them down guarantees a critical hit on subsequent attacks. Players can also switch protagonists to pursue enemies or use support skills that increase attack speed or restore health. Exploration involves selecting destinations on the Tokyo map, with different locations and times triggering unique events.
