SteelSeries has announced the launch of two limited-edition third-generation magnetic switch keyboards, the Apex Pro TKL Gen 3 Cyber and the Apex Pro TKL Gen 3 Steel, as part of its 25th-anniversary celebrations. The new products are now available on e-commerce platforms, priced at $239.99 each (approximately RMB 1,612.18).

The Apex Pro TKL Gen 3 Cyber/Steel models feature new colored top plates and semi-transparent keycaps to enhance RGB lighting effects. They follow an 84-key/75% layout specification. Equipped with SteelSeries' proprietary OmniPoint 3.0 magnetic switches, they offer adjustable actuation points, allowing players to finely tune the travel distance between 0.1mm and 4.0mm across 40 distinct levels. This provides ample adjustment range: shorter travel distances are ideal for competitive FPS gaming, while longer distances suit office typing. Additionally, response time and actuation speed have been improved by 11x and 20x, respectively.
Unlike the original version which used magnetic switches with a total pressure of 45gf, the Cyber and Steel models feature "Speed" and "Control" magnetic switches with total pressures of 35gf and 50gf, respectively, offering different tactile experiences. The keyboard also supports "SteelSeries Guard Mode," which automatically triggers at low actuation levels below 1mm and intelligently reduces the sensitivity of surrounding keys. It includes an OLED screen console for one-touch adjustment of Rapid Trigger (RT) functions and game settings. Furthermore, it supports dual-action keys, allowing users to perform two actions with a single key press.
Players can use SteelSeries GG to customize their keyboard settings. It also features GG QuickSet, allowing one-click application of optimized presets tuned specifically for games.
