SEGA has announced that Football Manager 27 (hereinafter referred to as "FM27"), the latest installment in the classic football club management simulation series "Football Manager" developed by Sports Interactive, will launch with a limited-time free Early Access event. From 2:00 AM on October 30 to 2:00 AM on November 4 (Beijing Time), players can download and play the Early Access version for free on Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store, Xbox Game Pass, and PC Game Pass.
*The Early Access version on Xbox and PC Game Pass platforms is exclusively available to subscribers of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Additionally, some information in this version is still awaiting approval from rights holders, so certain data may not accurately reflect real-world situations at present. Some club and player-related assets may also be temporarily unavailable.

Now, fans worldwide can try out the FM27 Early Access version without any upfront payment. To coincide with this event, pre-orders for FM27 will open simultaneously with the free trial period. Players who pre-order can enjoy a 10% discount and continue playing the Early Access version from November 4 until the official release date on November 10*. Those playing via Game Pass can continue their managerial journey through their subscription. Progress made during the free trial will carry over to the paid Early Access version upon pre-ordering. Once the game officially launches, players' progress will continue seamlessly into the full release without needing to start over.
