Atlus announced new information for Persona 4 Revival on October 23, 2026, focusing on characters from the Velvet Room and systems such as Persona fusion, Skill Cards, and Fusion Forecasts.
The Velvet Room is overseen by its master, Igor, who invites those who have formed a "contract" as guests to help them face their fate. Igor is voiced by Bin Shimada. Margaret, voiced by Sayaka Ohara, carries the Persona Compendium to support the protagonist; Marie, voiced by Kana Hanazawa, is a mysterious girl the protagonist meets in Inaba, who appears cold but also has a curious side.
Players can fuse multiple Personas into a new entity, allowing it to inherit skills. Occasionally, a "fusion accident" occurs during fusion, resulting in unexpected outcomes. Players can also purchase Skill Cards from Marie to teach Personas specific skills; acquired cards are added to the shop inventory and can be purchased at any time thereafter.
"Fusion Forecast" grants Personas powerful skills or ability enhancements when players meet specific conditions, which can be viewed in advance. The official team will hold demo events at six venues across five cities in Japan from November 14 to December 13, offering both story-oriented and dungeon-oriented content. The series' 30th-anniversary "Persona Certification Exam" is scheduled for October 31 to November 1, randomly selecting 50 questions from a pool of 100, with challenges repeatable during the event period.
