Spacewisp Games released the PC game "Against Heroes" demo on Steam on October 22, with the full version scheduled for release on November 10. The in-game text supports Japanese. This title features auto-battle gameplay, where players take on the role of the Demon King to organize a monster legion and strike proactively before the Heroes grow too powerful to control.
When managing your legion, players must decide whether to recruit new monsters, strengthen existing units, or save funds for future threats, all within limited resources. Enemies have varying abilities and traits, so monster team compositions must be adjusted promptly based on the subjugation target.
Each Hero levels up as turns progress, but players cannot defeat all Heroes at once. Prioritizing which Hero to attack and the order in which threats are handled will influence the battle's outcome. Although actual combat is automated, troop composition, resource allocation, and target selection will significantly alter the final result.
This demo unlocks core features such as monster legion formation and battling growing Heroes. Players can experience this reverse strategy loop before the official release to determine if the gameplay of organizing a legion and eliminating threats before the Heroes mature suits them.
