Player Exposes Abnormal Customer Service Response in ARC Raiders, Suspected to Contain ChatGPT Prompts

A player claimed that while handling their support ticket for ARC Raiders, customer support mistakenly sent around ten sets of content seemingly belonging to other players' tickets, including prompts directed at ChatGPT and the subsequent AI-generated customer service responses. Embark Studios has not yet confirmed the source of this content or the cause of the error.

Screenshots released by the player show that some prompts requested brief replies or asked players to provide screenshots of their current skill tree. Some content also included phrases like "ChatGPT says" and text indicating it was being written, leading to external speculation that customer support was using this tool.

The player's original issue was that they lost all their equipment due to a glitch about 20 seconds after entering the game. In their response, customer support apologized, stating they could not return the lost items or trial points, but would forward the feedback to the relevant team.

The relevant text was checked by Grammarly, Solvely, and GPTZero, all of which indicated a very high probability of AI generation. However, such detection tools are not always accurate, and the results do not prove that customer support used any specific tool. Currently, Embark Studios has not confirmed the source of the prompt text in the screenshots, why the ticket system malfunctioned, or whether other players' information was actually leaked; neither the posting player nor the studio had responded to contact attempts at the time the message was published.
