Sony announced that the new PlayStation PULSE Elevate wireless speaker will be officially released on November 12, 2026, with a suggested retail price of 1,748 yuan. Pre-orders are now open. The new product is currently available for TV platforms, offered in black or white finishes, and is a desktop speaker compatible with PlayStation 5, PC, and Mac.
The PlayStation PULSE Elevate features studio-grade planar diaphragm drivers and a woofer, delivering sound across a wide frequency response range for immersive desktop audio. It supports Tempest 3D AudioTech, allowing players to fully experience every second of sound in games, music, movies, and shows via PlayStation Link's ultra-low latency and lossless wireless technology. Additionally, it can connect to TVs or smartphones via Bluetooth® for use with more compatible devices.
Sony has integrated a microphone into the PlayStation PULSE Elevate (located in the right speaker), so players don't need to purchase an additional microphone. According to the official statement, thanks to AI-enhanced noise cancellation technology, the microphone can effectively identify and eliminate background noise, ensuring clear and crisp voice communication. This wireless speaker comes with built-in volume control, and players can further adjust settings such as EQ through the system menus on PlayStation 5 and PC.
Additionally, the PlayStation PULSE Elevate has a built-in battery, allowing players to take it on the go as a portable speaker. Sony has also designed a charging dock for the PlayStation PULSE Elevate, enabling the speaker to quickly revert to a desktop setup, with each speaker offering adjustable tilt angles to suit desk configurations.
