XREAL has officially launched AURA, positioning it as the world's first wired XR glasses powered by Android XR. The product is now available for pre-order in the United States, Canada, Japan, and South Korea, with a limited-time starting price of $1099 and expected shipping in mid-November.
AURA features optical see-through and split-computing design, with the glasses weighing under 95 grams while the computing workload is handled by a separate compute box. AURA's launch content covers gaming, film and television, sports, productivity, and enterprise applications. Games include Fallout: Shelter, Cubism, Oh My Galaxy!, and Chess Club, along with three XR games developed by DB Creations. The NBA app offers multi-view watching and desktop court features.
