Spike Chunsoft released "Dune: Awakening" for PlayStation 5 on October 29. The game supports official servers with up to 60 players and also offers a fully featured single-player mode.
"Dune: Awakening" is an open-world survival game set in the universe of the novel "Dune." Players take on the role of a spy traveling to the desert planet Arrakis to explore and uncover the mystery behind the disappearance of the native Fremen in an original story.
The harsh environment of Arrakis poses the primary survival threat. Players must constantly replenish water, use shadows for cover, and avoid sandstorms and sandworms. The official website has now released a beginner's guide, "Survival on Arrakis," introducing the game's basic survival mechanics.
Multiplayer mode allows up to 60 players to join the same official server; players who prefer not to engage in large-scale online interactions can progress independently through a complete single-player mode, choosing their preferred playstyle within the same desert survival framework.
