Koei Tecmo Taiwan announces that it has released the survey results and improvement plans for the Alpha Trial of the dark Three Kingdoms action RPG 'Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember' (Xbox Series X|S / PlayStation®5 / Nintendo Switch™ 2 / Steam® / Xbox Game Pass / Xbox on PC).
This is the latest title in the 'Wo Long' series, developed by Team NINJA, with a global player base exceeding 8 million people (※).
In the dark Three Kingdoms action RPG "Wo Long" series, players can wield Chinese martial arts that combine offense and defense, including the "Deflect" mechanic to neutralize enemy attacks, on battlefields overrun by "demons." They will overcome challenges, slay demons, and meet many famous generals from the Three Kingdoms era.
The Alpha Trial, available for a limited time from Wednesday, September 16, 2026, to Wednesday, September 30, attracted a large number of players worldwide. At the same time, we received valuable opinions and impressions through a concurrent survey.
After organizing and compiling the above opinions and impressions, and establishing improvement plans for the full release based on them, the "Alpha Trial Player Feedback Report" is now officially available.
Based on feedback received from the survey, we will implement improvements to the action system, such as simplifying the controls for the new "Focus" mechanic and relaxing its success conditions, rebalancing the gain and loss of "Morale," and enhancing Martial Arts and Divine Beasts. These changes aim to allow players to engage enemies more freely and proactively. Additionally, various other optimizations will be made to address issues and shortcomings in visual performance and loading times.
