Relic Entertainment has announced that the story campaign DLC for Company of Heroes 3, titled "Company of Heroes 3: Operation Torch," will launch on PC on November 25. This DLC includes 15 missions and marks the first addition of new single-player mission content since the game's release.
The campaign is set against the backdrop of the Allied landing in Axis-controlled North Africa. Players will command an inexperienced US Army unit through its first major engagement against German forces, growing through both victories and defeats.
The storyline draws from real historical events, covering phases such as the initial landings, the defeat at the Kasserine Pass, and the final assault on Hill 609. Players will experience command decisions and frontline combat from the perspectives of three American soldiers, witnessing their struggles with the loss of comrades, responsibility, and the trials of war.
The 15 missions include beach landings, stealth operations, positional defense, and large-scale offensives, each emphasizing different units, tools, abilities, and tactical mechanics. Completing missions and optional objectives grants upgrade rewards, allowing players to choose their force's development direction based on their tactical needs.
