Ubisoft announced that Assassin's Creed Valhalla will add the long-requested New Game+ mode on November 5th. This allows players to restart their journey, nearly six years after the game's initial release in November 2020.
This update will also bring optional progression modes, new runes, achievements, and a storage system. Equipment, runes, and mastery items will all contribute to Eivor's overall Power Rating. Players can also obtain new gear and upgrade their equipment to the new "Divine" tier.
The update will add a new crafting material, "Mithril," used to enhance Divine-tier equipment. The game will also introduce a Master Assassin outfit set, inspired by Naoe's design from Assassin's Creed Shadows.
Ubisoft stated that Assassin's Creed Valhalla will receive further updates, with full details to be included in the upcoming patch notes, which will cover current-gen console enhancements. Ubisoft has not yet specified which platform features are included in this console update, nor have they confirmed any visual enhancements.
